TEHRAN Iranian diplomats recently held separate conferences with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to go over Irans foreign policy top priorities, bilateral relations with Lebanon and Afghanistan, and ongoing programs within the United Nations and other international organizations.The officials consisted of Mojtaba Amani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon; Alireza Bikdeli, representative to Afghanistan; Ali Bahreyni, Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva; and Saadat Aghajani, Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.
During these meetings, each diplomat provided in-depth reports on their areas of obligation.
Topics included updates on Irans diplomatic and cooperative efforts with Lebanon and Afghanistan, as well as more comprehensive conversations on present initiatives and strategies at the United Nations.
Foreign Minister Araghchi supplied tactical guidance to the diplomats, highlighting the value of pursuing Irans diplomacy goals at both bilateral and multilateral levels.He emphasized the requirement for Iranian representatives to intensify their efforts to strengthen ties and broaden partnerships with Lebanon and Afghanistan.
Furthermore, he highlighted the value of deepening Irans engagement with the United Nations and other worldwide organizations to advance nationwide interests and foster local and international cooperation.
